Sure, we all know the first day of Autumn isn’t until September 22nd. But doesn’t it feel like Autumn has arrived the day after Labor Day? Kids are back in school. Halloween decorations, costumes and goodies fill the stores. Pumpkin spice lattes have returned. It’s even time to think about Oktoberfest! Surely, fall is here.
And Autumn in Virginia has also resumed! Check out the calendar for fall fun activities in Virginia and recognition days. Visit each Monday in October for the featured horror movie of the week; this year’s festival spotlights the film noir films of Val Lewton and his colleagues. On Tuesdays, I’ll post recipes for tasty treats. Sunday evenings are times to relax with some vintage, old-time radio programs.
